The Modern Marketer’s Mandate

The primary goal of a Multi-Channel Marketer is to execute customer-focused marketing activities that drive demand for products or services. This involves defining, designing, and implementing cohesive campaigns across both online and offline channels to acquire, engage, and retain customers. You will be a key part of the marketing team, working with a degree of autonomy to deliver on day-to-day marketing objectives and contribute directly to the organisation’s success.

Core Competencies: Knowledge, Skills & Behaviours

The apprenticeship is built around a core set of Knowledge, Skills, and Behaviours (KSBs). These are the “marking criteria” for the entire programme. Mastering them is your key to success. Click on each category below to explore the specific requirements you’ll need to demonstrate.

The Apprenticeship Journey

Your apprenticeship is a structured journey that combines formal training with hands-on workplace experience. This section outlines the key phases, from your initial on-programme learning to the final assessment, along with the technologies you’ll master along the way.

Timeline

On-Programme Learning

The End-Point Assessment (EPA)

The EPA is the final, independent assessment of your competence. It’s designed to confirm you have mastered the full range of knowledge, skills, and behaviours for a Multi-Channel Marketer. This section details the assessment methods, grading, and how your competencies are tested.

Assessment Methods

Method 1: Work-Based Project, Report & Presentation

You will undertake a real-world project for your employer over a 12-week period. This involves producing a 2,500-word report and delivering a 20-minute presentation followed by a 25-minute Q&A session with an assessor.

Method 2: Professional Interview & Portfolio

This is a 60-minute interview with an assessor. It’s a professional discussion underpinned by your portfolio of 12-15 pieces of work, which you use to provide real-world examples to support your answers. The portfolio itself is not graded.
